Lulasclan is passionate about African contemporary luxury decor & textiles. Their philosophy of preserving the beauty of African cultures is translated into their beautifully crafted textile designs and interior decor items. This unique piece is inspired by traditional Venda cloths and tapestry worn by women when they enter into womanhood or given off as a bride. Chepape has focussed on the intricate woven technique presented in the cloths generally worn and tied over the shoulder or around the waist as a skirt.
